Our firm has distinguished credentials in handling both simple and complex immigration cases. The firm devotes significant time and resources to staying on top of the latest changes in U.S. immigration Law.

Marcus Kosins Jr., the founding partner of the firm, has represented Japanese clients since 1986. He is the only U.S. attorney in Japan who practices immigration law. He is also Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi, a registered foreign lawyer in Japan and is an adjunct professor of immigration law at Temple University School of Law. The value of using a trusted American attorney is unsurpassed, particularly since September 11 has made it more difficult to obtain a U.S. visa. Unlike other U.S. immigration lawyers who serve Japanese clients from outside of Japan, Mr. Kosins works with his clients directly from his centrally located office in Tokyo.
Kosins Attorney at Foreign Law Office also has extensive experience in international commercial work, as well as providing legal advice on U.S. commercial matters and helping new and established foreign businesses in Japan with legal assistance. Our firm works in association with a talented pool of licensed Japanese attorneys who can advise on Japanese law. If you need services outside our expertise, we can refer you to a carefully vetted network of trusted contacts with a high degree of confidence.
